So I continually find myself on the configurator switching between bronco models: Badlands, Outer Banks, Black Diamond lets be honest all of them... trying to find that perfect build.

Because of model specific options (both visual and mechanical) I cant get to a "yep that's the one" build. So in a dream world if I could mix and match between models my build would be something like:

Start with 2.7 Auto Badlands
High Package
And here is where I get picky for no other reason but personal preference.
But... give me Paint matched mirrors and door handles - I just like this look.
The only unavailable change I would make is on the interior side give me marine grade vinyl (Black Diamond)with red stitching and accents instead of blue.

quick photoshop of my -have it my way- Build.

Ford Bronco Bronco - Have it your way... Badlands Color Matched

My completely personal preference rant rant over (i know its a very small change)... I am curious what are your Bronco -have it your way- builds with minor tweaks (to what's currently available, with a little leeway). I just would like to hear what things everyone would like out of the gate from Ford that maybe I have overlooked.

Please note: I'm very excited to get my Bronco and Ford is great at building a platform to build from, this isn't meant to be a why didn't they offer this type of thread.

And just for fun here is a side by side of my MS Paint photoshop of a Outer banks, Badlands, Color matched Badlands:
Ford Bronco Bronco - Have it your way... Grou

So what is everyone's minor tweak build that makes you go "Yep that's the one" ?

I think a....
... Lightning Blue w/ Brown modular top and OB brown interior but setup for washout
2.7tt with 7spd
Black Diamond Squatch suspension specs but with 33x12.50x16 SuperSwamper TSLs on the 16" steelies with moon caps.

That would be perfect.

I'm pretty happy with my Base SAS. I do wish the Mid package was available ( or at least a rear locker) but I understand it's a Base and they want you to spend more money to move up.

2.3 and auto and I'm a sucker for a good stereo

My heart wants a BL, my wallet wants a BD, my head wants OBX

Gimme BD with lux and signature lights OR
OBX with different wheels and MGV OR
BL with auto and lux closer to 50k rather than 55 with obx color matching parts

Feels increasingly like BL and add exterior bits to my liking overtime is the move. I just have a mental block of spending more than 50k but I feel somewhat tormented by not being able to get it juuussst how I want it from the factory.

I've modded my earlier cars but as life has gone on, I have less desire too. Mostly less time but also wanting great fit and finish. Got my first car in 06, spent 1k more than the car on the audio AND I didn't even have a sub box in the trunk. The sound was perfection but it was janky as all hell. Similar stories on other cars (dipped rims, major surgery to get LEDs).

But there's no way I'm breaking out duct tape and a dremel for my 50k rig. I'm spending that much, I want it to be clean.

I am pretty cool with a 2.7 2 Dr BL LUX squach in A51. Only wish list really would be BFG's on the squach and sliding rear windows. Can't wait. I will take it how I can get it.

Me too, but having to get all that other stuff with the lux package is hard to swallow. Really wish a stereo package on it's own was a choice.

2 DR Badlands Cactus Gray with all other exterior parts matching black (including top)
2.7L Auto
33's with BD black steelies

Now if we're talking anything under the sun...

Some minor engine upgrades and exhaust (yeah, I'm typical)
Line-X'd exterior parts black
Black Rhino Arsenal wheels (black)
