I think that your question is pretty hard answer as “it depends”. Is the snow in question on a hard surface, a soft surface that is wet? Assuming a flat grade or an uphill grade? Tough questions. Or on more hard/packed/ or semi packed snow? I would carry my chains and be prepared to dig but I suspect that a foot of decent snow could be handled, again, given the conditions are right.exactly 4.735”
