Just remember both the G6 and Bronco II were born from Rangers...
That point isn't lost on me at all, but THAT turd of a Bronco was built on a turd of a Ranger platform.......today's platform are apples compared to that old moldy raisin, or is that a cat turd?

2 tone is an acquired taste IMHO. I dig the chrome factory retro mod wheels.
Would I consider it if I did not or could not get my build if it was on a local lot...you dang straight I would.

That is sweet. If I had gotten my antimatter blue, would have been tempting to do the 80’s treatment to match my original ’87.

Interesting. That top needs painting IMO.
Not at all, that’s how the 5G full size broncos were. The top was a matte off color.

I’m looking at doing that. I ordered my next one in white, just plan on wrapping it for the business.

i can't argue with this much. to many black/white/grey vehicles on the road. cyber orange, HPR, EG, VB, etc are all stunning colors in comparison.

I will give a pass on CarbGrey, in the bright sunlight that is possibly the nicest grey i've seen. FTR - I'm no fan of CactusGrey or A51 either. just boring (to me, for those that like them great, not knockin your choice at all). the only way I buy black/white/etc is with the intent of a wrap of some type

I like everything except for the Iconic Silver part and the chrome wheels.

Eruption Green is an amazing color

I’ve said this before, and here I go again. Bronco 6G really stands on its own. It clearly draws its design cues from 1G, but taking 6G all the way back is perilous, because it’s really easy to take it too far. The edges of the grill and flares need to be body color.
Shoehorning 6G into 2 - 5G or BII is even more dangerous because 6G has so few (if any) design cues from these generations. If you’re trying to channel the 80s and 90’s a “FORD (Horse Silhouette) BRONCO” spare tire cover is a subtle touch.
I also saw a race red 6G Bronco in a build journal that featured tube bumpers and drilled polished aluminum wheels. This really worked because so many G1 Broncos in the 80s ran tubes and aluminum wheels.
The Bronco from this thread, is well done enough to be really polarizing, and I’m just not sure. If he missed the spare cover, he did it wrong.

After a second look, it’s really amazing how paint, wheels, and white letter tires turned it into a Bronco II. He stuck the landing, but if you like it or not is completely subjective.
