100% this. Check with your insurance what it would cost you to insure in Georgia. I'm sure it'll be much less. Location, location, location makes a huge difference in insurance pricing.I’m sure it’s location. Heavily urban, older area, DC. Yeah, its the location.
I guess this has to be it. I'm going to shop around this weekend. Just so annoying I'm pissing away a tune and larger FMIC on insurance. lol Appreciate everyone's feedback.DC insurance rates sit around 29% higher than the national average. DC ranks at the 6th most expensive when comparing them against all US States (even though DC is not a State).
Had USAA for years. They slowly raised my prices until I was forced to look elsewhere. GEICO killed USAA’s price and I’ve never looked back.I pay $164/mo for the bronco and the 4Runner together through USAA, so $984/6 months. $500 deductible, and I am probably "overinsured" which I really prefer anyway, I have coverage for nearly everything at max or near it.
I’m in Chester County PA as well and it’s just under $800/6 months with usaa. Location I guess but seeing these other premiums makes me want to shop it.100% this. I'm in PA and the delta of where I grew-up (still in PA) to where I live now is about 100% difference, meaning, my insurance would be half what I'm paying now if I lived where I grew-up.
