One big thing I want is the floors to not be carpet.

also rear window ideas? Rather it hinge up like on the expedition, or be powered and go into the tailgate like before?

I'm totally down for a power backglass. But I wouldn't care if it wasn't. I'd be fine with a tailgate and lift glass. Or taildoor lol

Ford. Go Out And Hire Ram Interior Designer Pay The Man. Time To Catch Up.

Trust me, stop by a GM dealer when you can and hop up in a Chevy or GMC top of the line trim SLT AT4 or even the top spec Denali and try to tell me that’s not the most heinous and foul looking interior you have ever seen.

Not only that! But that tail gait has to be witnessed and tested first hand to realize how ridiculously functional and useful it actually is.. . I would use the living hell out of that thing!
Lastly, did you know the gmc spray in bed liners are standard in every truck SLT and above?
Not one single truck on the lot over $70k with a naked vulnerable bed.. Duh Ford purchasing agents!!!!

Still getting the Ford though, the GMC was definitely better looking than the Chevy, but still not nearly as nice as the Fords. That and the interior, holy cow it was bad.

That tailgate is amazing. And well thought out.

I doubt it works very well in 10 years, but eh. GM doesn't care about that. They'll have some new whizbang shit to sell in 10 years.

kinda what I thought till I saw it. It’s all steel and pretty heavy with some monster hinges. Should last fine. What concerns me is the aluminum gates on the superdutys.. lift with your pinky finger. Our bed in our 2018 superduty already has dents in the floor.
Also watch a super duty driving down the road, bed shakes around pretty noticeably. Not real confident is all that thin aluminum yet but seems everybody wants to go that route to lighten weights.

I'm more concerned about the complexity of electrics and electronics in it. Not the hard parts.
