I know you guys always talk about your approach and departure angles blah blah blah.. But in the case, the location of the rear axle just looks ugly.
I'd take the normal 2 door and just extend the back end for the extra space. Like the 80's & 90's Bronco. Does everyone really think that every single Bronco is going off road and needs it to be short? I think not.
I get that. I'm not gonna be rock crawling, just ranch roads and occasional snow. Gimme an extra 10-12" on the rear of the tub and a rear seat delete option and it would be almost perfect for me. Add a real tailgate to make it totally perfect.

@Toccoa, your original renders have the 2dr or 4dr front doors? I am guessing 4'door.
Try it with the longer 2dr doors.

Someone with a lot of spare time, measure the length of the hood, front door, and "bed" on the
2 door
4 door
EB
and Gen5

and report back the proportions
Bonus Points if you have a visual graphic.

here's a little less extreme...half way, ignore the extra "seam", i think it is proportionally better than the actual 2-door given the hood length

Yes! This is what I was hoping the 2 door proportions would be. Just an extra 4 inches or so behind the b pillar. It has a little better proportions, to me, and some extra cargo and sleeping space. It might look even better if the bigger rear side windows were broken up by a slider or something.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I think it looks great how they did it. I'm still getting my 2dr!

Depending on the original graphic, it was either one. I did the math by matching the door from a 2DR to the body length of a 4DR. Here is an example. The end result was always a 2DR door on a 4DR wheelbase.

The Bronco II outsold any FSB year. For me it was more in line with the 1st Gen (and current Gen). Dare I say we have had 3 generations of Bronco? ;)
