This launch is a really big deal. Every random person that I've mentioned "Bronco" has gone crazy ... they get all animated and excited.

For sure. I've mentioned at random to people that I have a Bronco reservation. People who are not offroaders or even car people in general seem to know about it and are stoked for me.

Seems weird to me. When I was this excited about the WRX coming here nobody knew about it. I got a lot of "isn't that the Australian car?"

Just got my copy in the mail. It gets 4 pages of content on the inside. I haven't noticed anything we don't already know in it.

I’m really intrigued by the black colored hood segment/scoop. I dig it. I know the hood is completely flat on all models, but perhaps a wildtrak decal? Seems like they were given some creative liberties for the cover. I’d be surprised if Ford allowed them to feature an completely inaccurate rendering.

Also, I enjoy that they shoved a bunch of Buick-esque SUVs in the back haha.

Thank you. The writer completely missed the point on the wheel base. They gave the JLU a win because it has a longer wheel base but it is notorious for dragging its belly. What Ford did was make it long enough for stability but not so long that it’s going to drag over everything. Ford definitely wins wheel base.

I think the term is break over angle. The Bronco has a better break over angle than the Wrangler.
