EXACTLY THIS. My first taste was a Mazda event called Rev It Up! and you set your best Autocross time in their metal burning up their tires and brakes. The fastest car is a rental. I do not want to do something on the edge in my truck, but with expert oversight I can learn to get the maximum I could wring out of it without getting worried about my own.
