Simple solution for tops is just make all orders soft tops. I get it, financially youre saving money doing MIC and going aftermarket soft.

That said, seems to me if they are already built, why would Ford save them to “save money on warranty issues”? How would they save money if theyre already built. Either take em off at the storage grounds or let customers exchange themat the dealer.

I think they should embrace the honeycomb pattern. All of the raised ridges and recessed craters will act like the dimples on a golf ball and improve MPG. My WT would probably get close to Prius mileage that way.

I have no interest in a soft top Bronco and will wait. If something as silly as a hardtop causes such an issue I don't even want to see what something major would do. Fortunately for Ford everybody else has old designs and the market is otherwise lackluster or I feel I would have already moved on.

I hope the tops and chips problems resolve quickly...
And Ford has an itch to clear out rented/leased storage space that was used to hold vehicles...
And they flood dealership lots with them....
Just to take the wind out of the sails of dealerships trying to charge ADMs...

Ford should offer to pay to just wrap the tops at a local custom shop. Most would take Ford up on the deal.

The only soft top I'm interested in is an aftermarket one that has no frame and just snaps in for the times I have the roof off and inclement weather comes in.

One of those velocity blue 2 doors is mine. My dealer just confirmed that hard tops are on HOLD until quality concerns are resolved.

Ford has another storage lot for Michigan Assembly Plant on Belleville Road just south of Michigan Avenue. In this satellite photo it’s full of Rangers, but when I drove by it the other day it was full of Broncos.

Mine too. Built 22 July hopefully they will ship to the dealer this century. When I spoke to the Ford customer service rep she stated probably in the next 30-45 days but I sure hope not that’s crazy. How long have you been waiting?

I’m not sure what’s more amusing. The debacle this entire launch has been or people on this site looking at a photo and proclaiming they see, “their Bronco.” Because they’re the only red Bronco ordered.

i had 7/13 blend date
7/13 update to in production
no build or ship update, but now the time lines says 7/27 estimated delivery date but no delivery.

I would guess most of these Broncos are waiting on factory installed options. Of which all can be added at a later. I didn't order any just for this fact. Commodity issues are real. I work in manufacturing and we are facing many.
