I have a 7/13 res, ordered by 1/20 or whenever that deadline was. Headliner added before 4/8. I went to the Pittsburgh event last week and decided to remove Sasquatch from my 2 DR Badlands yesterday. Dealer was able to do it.

My wife is 5' 2" and was having a hard time getting in/out on the First Edition there. Much better on the Non-Sas Badlands there. I'm not a tall guy and it was better for me as well.

Hope it doesn't affect anything, if it does, oh well.
Removing Squatch may speed it up. It's a delay item.

It sure seems that way
We seem to get new tidbits of the plan everyday. I think we all assumed originally assumed that the builds for the ordered units would start 5/3. Now that appears to be closer to 5/31, requiring a lower build number estimate. I am sure this number is going to ebb and flow for some time.

On the email they sent stating the top delays and free headliner it specifically stated "you have until April 9th to make changes to your order." I know typically you can make changes to an order up until the VIN is created but with this being such a hot commoditity and already facing constraints I take that as after April 9th you can't make changes to orders. Which would make sense as to why we are now hearing of stuff being in the process of scheduling now
The email was saying you have until that date to change your order to remove items that are now MY22 if you wanted to get a MY21.

Ford has also clearly stated in numerous locations (notably in the FAQs provided to dealers and posted here) that you can modify your order up until the VIN is assigned.

As pointed out by another poster, Ford apparently intended to start scheduling MY21s soon after the April date, so for some select people, that would likely be near their last chance to modify their order.

Yea but people are still able to change their orders. Some even said they were able to do it today. So something is messed up
Maybe you have a vin and are in the que for production and haven't been told yet.

That would have been hard to say in person with a straight face.

No it's not.

It's a possible commodity constraint.

There's a difference.
