Hmmm, let's point to the Bronco Sport as being the "soccer-mom" transporter. Just my opinion. 4-dr Bronco is the off-roader that just carries more people/equipment

Does it carry more than the Bronco Sport though? The interior/cargo dimensions listed are almost identical.

You are correct, payload is roughly the same. I see the Bronco Sport as the mall-crawler, soccer mom transporter. Light off-roading trails. It's not gonna go off-roading and rock crawling where the Bronco 4-dr can go.

I agree. If anyone gets the 4-door, the Sasquatch package is a must to keep it from looking like a soccer mom vehicle. I would personally go a step farther and say that a 4-door, at minimum, should have a 2 inch factory lift on 37X13.5R17s.

I bought a black M550 two years ago now (wife instigated on a sedan, so I said fine, I’ll get a fast sedan) and it is a thing of beauty, and I pay a local car wash for unlimited washes and that is the only way it stays that way!

I've had my black Edge for 16 months and haven't washed it at all and it's clean as new. It rarely rains here and I'm retired, so if it's gonna rain, I don't go out. I use a duster to gently wipe it down and then use Pinnacle Crystal Mist and Chemical Guys cloth to detail it.

Yes, yes, and more yes. Would I pay an extra $5k on any trim above Big Bend or Black Diamond? No. If I can spend an extra 5k on a $28.5k vehicle and have almost as much offroad capability as the standard Badlands, yes sign me up.

the 2 door is a high benchmark in the looks dept that the 4door can't touch. I always want the 4dr as well, and i'm not considering it with the bronc. the looks change significantly for the worse imo.

if you nit pick even more the 4door looks a little dated as well...by dated it looks like a 80/90's Cherokee with a mixture of Toyota/rrover

Yet the Jeep ostensibly hasn't their death wobble plagued suspension, or their elongated cereal box look in say ... I dunno, 13 years since the UNlimited body style came out. I don't know what you were expecting from the Ford Bronco design. As a mechanic who has worked on them from the 70's years to the 90s years, this is pretty on point of you are still wanting it to look like a BRONCO and not some shaved down little rice burner.
