"My dealer said" has got to be the worst one to me, we know way more than they do!

Tired of:

1) Receiving an e-mail from Ford on Thursday, only to find it's just another marketing blurb.

2) Guys on their high-horse about Moab being the ONLY place you can go for "real off-roading".

3) 25 minute Bronco videos on YouTube that can successfully be delivered in 4 minutes, please learn how to edit.

4) More swag in my mail box. . . yes the gesture is well taken . . . but I need a Bronco in my driveway.

5) The word swag.

For me, there are a few that I'm really starting to dislike:

"Worth the wait" is probably at the top of the list. Seriously, I can't imagine anything that is worth this kind of stringing along, lies, broken promises and poor communications. If, when we made reservations - we were told "it will likely be 2 years by the time you see your Bronco" - that would be one thing .. but that didn't happen. Every time I see someone post that comment with a pic of their new Bronco, I secretly want to throat punch them.

"If you're worried about MPG - buy a Prius" - this is just idiocy - gas is close to $5 a gallon, so unless you're independently wealthy, the cost of fuel in a daily driver should be a consideration.

"my Bronco's engine just blew up" - this is becoming too common

"4 door Bronco isn't a real Bronco" - shut the hell up.

What else?
People waxing poetic about the color: cyber orange? Look in a baby diaper!

"The 4 Door soft top looks like a school bus with a tarp on top of it"

Oh wait, that one is true

I never understood this either but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. “Aggressive” is so subjective.

Thought it wasn’t street legal to have your tires come that far out of the truck. Yet I see plenty of lifted Rams and Silverados with 6” of poke so it must not be enforced?
Assholes are usually “aggressive”?

I'm tired of people telling me my Wildtrak is a pointless trim.

Guess what. I don't give a shit about your stabilizer disconnect button. If you haven't experienced a Sasquatch Bronco in a lower trim yet then you haven't realized they are all just as capable.

Get over yourself. End rant.

Oh and Mansquatch is a horrible term. Sounds like a term for a crotch itch.
Or something you do in the woods?

Any reservation greater than July 2020 bitching about no Bronco yet.

Now to be fair on that last point, I'm currently getting worse mileage in my Bronco than what my 500hp Shelby gets 😅😅
Aerodynamics, maybe? I mean you're talking the difference between a box forcing it's way through the atmosphere versus a sleek racer slicing its way through. It's like difference between Terunofuji Haruo and Michael Phelps in a swimming pool. Not only is Phelps going to blow Haruo away, but he'll have way more energy left in the tank, at the end of the race.
