Bronco production update 8/3: More downtime expected weeks of 8/16 and/or 8/23

At this point I would gladly change to a soft top but I can’t! I’ve got a vin for a MIC and been rescheduled several times for several weeks and finally landed on 8/16 which was confirmed as my build day not just week.

Now this morning we’re learning MAP may be shut down that week and possibly the week of 8/23 too? Holy shit!

To this point I’ve been very positive on this forum but now it looks like those of us with a Vin and build day won’t even get a freaking MY21 Bronco!

I had build days of 8/16, 8/19 and now 8/24. Were told we should feel grateful to have our vins. I still suspect further delays on our build days/weeks/months. I was initially week of 6/28.

The train may be officially coming off the tracks. Looks like there will be more downtime the week of 8/16 and/or 8/23. In the spirit of tempering expectations, I'd anticipate some of the August production scheule getting blown up.

I dunno man... Then why not build amd deliver the trucks and have the dealer network install then when available. Not the first time it's been brought up.
The production line running is the absolute most important thing! Tow hitch? Fucking add it after... Mod bumper? Who gives a shit... Add it after.

It's kinda like playing the slot machines at the casino. You've already won jackpot but the machine is just out of money, so you have to wait for your earnings to be delivered in a suit case from the back office. But don't fret, because you won!

While those without VINs are still pulling on that lever, playing the game of numbers hoping they wilk win with no indication if they'll win at all

I know how you feel I’ve been priming my backup plan of the Silverado Zr2 release. A 6.2l is starting to sound real tasty if they don’t get there shit together. I sold my Jeep to make room for this shit show.

I was also originally a 6/28, last I heard I was a 8/2 build but I haven't confirmed it actually got built yesterday. Was planning on checking with my dealer today/tomorrow but at this point Im kinda just vibing and itll get here when it gets here.

well I want to give congrads to those who have gotten there Bronco's. It looks as if they are going to be the only ones being build. Ford is going to cancel the Bronco and now those with them will have a very rare vehicle. Again congrads to you all.

Wouldn't that be a trip... I don't see them abandoning the Bronco, just too much demand for them to walk away.

I'm so happy i compromised my build, to search for and purchase an abandoned order. I highly recommend you to do the same, if you want a Bronco before winter. At this rate, the Bronco is going to be the biggest flop, or the most sought after vehicle ford has produced. Depending on the GT500 and new Raptor sales.

So since my blend date is this week and I have already paid for my Bronco, I am on the opposite end of the spectrum (and that doesn't make me right); however, I am so glad that I have not compromised my build. Some of the builds being blended this week are truly insane with regard to the Deadly Sins. Look at this cauldron of sin:

You're exactly right. Truth of the matter is, all those proposed full steam ahead September builds have now slipped to oct/November. Anything after that is my2022

Sometimes picking and choosing the battles, that really don't affect the desired outcome, are beneficial in the long run. I had a base build with the SAS package and in Velocity Blue. I found a base non-SAS in Carbonized Gray. The overall end-state i was looking for; A Bronco. Being picky was not an option at the time of availability, for me. You do have every right to be selective, I just wanted a Bronco so i took advantage of the opportunity and I am not disappointed at that. If you do decide to compromise, do it now before ADMs start getting out of control. Remember there are a few Broncos on ebay right now with multiple bids totaling over $80k and one FE at $175k. Risk vs reward is at a even scale right now with dealers, it could change within hours.
