Safe to say the SCG Boot race truck has a lot more in common with its $287k counterpart than the "Bronco" race truck does.
Will either of them be seen racing the Hammers?

Totally true.
We think The Boot would do well at Hammers. Terry Madden drove our Road Boot at The Horse Power Ranch in Baja last year and thought it would do well there.

We're coming back this year and look forward to racing the Bronco again.
I am curious what differentiates the Boot being street legal and the Bronco not? Is there something with the Bronco that makes it where it can't be street legal?
there is a street legal boot and one not street legal. @Jim Glickenhaus can explain it better than i can

Yea, I understand that but back in September he said - We are competing against Ford with a street legal SUV which their Baja Bronco isn't.
i'm not really sure what makes the bronco not street legal. one thing i can think of is that it doesn't have airbags
The Race Boot is fully street legal.
It races with a real license plate.
We do remove the windshield and front fenders when we race.
The Race Bronco is not road legal.

Basically it's not a road legal Bronco that races with it's windshield and fenders removed. AFAIK
It's a purpose built race truck. The Bronco is a fantastic vehicle. It's a great bargain in it's road legal form.
We look forward to racing it's race version again soon.
