At least your heaters work. Mine have been dead for months and waiting on a Climate Control Module. I miss the inferno!! :ROFLMAO:
I would love the "heated" steering wheel to work even half as well as the heated seats!!

I can't find their insta right now but they did a walk through it was just seat and some dash damage right? They're still pushing, I saw the other day they got the winch installed.

They’re just “wastes of money standing around” until this exact situation happens.

Also “put out with a hose”. This was in a shop, how do you weld without a fire bottle nearby?
Fire extinguishers are corrosive as hell (besides CO2).

Some corrosion vs the extra time for a fire to grow while I get a hose. Corrosion vs the way high temperatures temper steel? Corrosion vs giving a quickly growing fire time to spread?

That's an easy calculation there.

Kracker fab

Here is the latest. And yes. Did not burn to the ground. Welding spark got it the seat and smoldered for hours. Said another guy from the shop got the hose.

The fire post and comments are the one before I posted. They tell all about it.

😁

Reminds me of the Poison Spyder JK "crispy" that was a KOH build from a Jeep that caught fire.

Super bummed to see this, and also fully know the pain they must be in right now. I raced Ultra4 for years including several seasons in 4600 trading paint with these guys. This time of year is always a no sleep thrash fest trying to get to the lakebed and hopefully get some prerunning in, and that's if you have a finished and tested vehicle.

Glad to see it wasn't worse and hope they are able to get it done.
