Bronco Raptor 3.0l engine horsepower and torque number expectations

So you expect current engines to compete with future engines?

Well, I don't expect anything just curious about it because the Hurricane will be available 2022/2023 and Bronco Raptor is new as well so I was thinking maybe they didn't release the numbers because of that 3.0 Hurricane having so much power and they know it will end up in a Wrangler.

I am assuming you meant to say Raptor not Rapture. 511 horsepower would be nice as the new 2023 Hurricane 3.0 engine will have something similar and I’m pretty confident top of the line Jeep Wrangler will get that engine. Competition is good.

not sure if theres any merit to it, but my raptor popped up on my dealers site. under the specs, it lists the 3.0L motor as being 400hp

As with every other new vehicle launch, there will be a press event right before deliveries begin. At the very latest, power numbers will be announced during the press event

Yeah I think Ford initially mentioned 400hp as a minimum and did not give any torque values. I don't know what they are waiting for as it is almost June and they still haven't released the official numbers, but hopefully we will see it soon. My initial guess was 433HP and 490 FT LBS. My other wish-guess is 425HP and 505 FT LBS.

Yeah I don't think anyone will cancel the orders based on these numbers, I wouldn't. We are just speculating, I would get this Bronco Raptor no matter what those numbers are .

MPG was approved by EPA and released by Ford, HP # will be out shortly.
