One of the reasons I got the Raptor beyond just being a fun vehicle is having a specialty vehicle that will hold value over the long haul. F150 raptors always seem to do well and retain value very good. Looking at the current slim open market for individuals (not dealers) selling (or flipping) a Braptor seems to be unexpectedly soft. Most are not making the reserve and some have barely broken 100K in bids. I know this is silly on a 80K vehicle but hoping its not a true lack of interest or dislike of the vehicle in broader scale. Considering I've seen Wildtracks go for top dollar would have thought the Braptors would be flying of the auction blocks. Wondering what this means down the road for values?

Ebay has a few - mostly dealers with fixed prices and currently only 3 or 4 actual auctions. Cars and Bids has one that's closing in about an hour.

Yep that’s 107 grand is current bid. That 40 grand over a base raptor.

Yep, that one doing OK but not much activity. Sticker on that one is closer to 80K. Don't know if they had a reserve on that one or not.

If you buy a car because you think it will hold value or make money you're doing it wrong. It hurts my soul that people go for certain models for this reason.

It's a new car. What SHOULD happen is it loses 10k in value the moment you sign the paperwork. It's absurd that people expect differently these days.

Just wait until they start hitting cars&flips though...they'll all be over $100k. You'll make plenty of money.

Well, I hold my cars for years....and have sold several almost what I paid for when new, some were planned purchases of a limited production others were just lucky. Not why I bought the Braptor but certainly want to see these keep demand and value over time.

27k over, I’d say is pretty good. I don’t see anything that suggest there not holding value.

These people are going to have a whole lot of learning to do when things get back to normal in the car world.

It's almost like watching people handle money that didn't live through '08 or the interest rates of the 80's.
