Hey @GregFoutz for installation do you have to remove the stock coil over or is it fine to compress the spring and swap it out while it’s still mounted?

its ok to just compress the spring in place and install it. its not super easy to do in the front but pretty simple to get it in there in the rear shock. You will need a good spring compressor though. This is a link to a low budget decent type spring compressor like the one we use.

Nice! I have a set of SPC Spring Compressors. Seems like they will do the job as well.

If one wanted to lift to clear 39's and wanted to keep the same factory rake, what size front and rear would you recommend?

you could do the 2" front and back or higher and be good for 39"

I just had the Foutz Front Leveling Kit installed on my Braptor today (1“ Collars) and like it. @GregFoutz is it your experience that the shocks/springs need to settle after installation? Right now the fronts ground->fender is ~ 0.5” taller than the rear giving a slight squat. TBH I prefer this over the factory rake but hoping they settle back to level. Maybe just some aggressive driving over rough terrain, if not hard braking will help getting everything to settle.

The angles of the pictures make it appear more of a squat than it is. I measured ~2deg front-to-back slope.

Was hoping the vehicles and spacers together were precise enough to get true level. @DallasCajun , I would not expect any settling in - that generally indicates overstressed springs. Did you find any settling? If not, any input @GregFoutz ?

No we didnt see any settling in really in our testing. do you have more stuff in the rear that would add weight back there? Did you drive it enough for the live valve shock to release after install? should only have to drive it around the block for that to release.

No the only settling is if the live valve shock isnt releasing yet after installing and getting them fully extended. but no the springs with that short of a collar on them dont normally have a settling issue.

Thanks for the response, I actually forgot to update this thread as I was tracking it more on another forum. As it turns out the collars that were ordered by my local shop were 1.5" and not 1.0" that I didn't catch when quoted so it did create a bit of a squat. I ended up having them order 1.0" collars and installed on the rear so now it's actually level given how soft the rear springs are.

In the end it's measuring about 1.5" lifted in front and 0.75" in the rear with the slightest rake (< 0.25").

So @DallasCajun , 1.0" on the fronts only (nothing rear) should be good for leveling out?
