Bronco Raptor Interest Email Received

i have a Aug 2020 res that is 99'd and got the email. Not interested in a dessert runner anyway but the exterior styling is a hard pass for me. I am still holding out hope that they will do something I like with the heritage edition. I have a 4dr Badlands that was built 12/6 that I am planning on driving in the mean time. IF it ever arrives. Estimated shipping date pushed back for the 4th time today. For those of you not following it, not only do you have to wait forever to get your vehilcle built but even after it is built you can expect to wait weeks for it to be delivered. Not sure how much of that can be blamed on Ford but it is still frustating.

Forget rock crawing, with the size of that thing it'd be mountain climbing.

Ha! My thing is this, If you're going after the Wrangler (say as much), that means it needs to be another option for Rock Crawling since that's all that a Wrangler is truly good at; everything else it heavily compromises at.

Crawling is why the Wrangler is sort of narrow and isn't crazy big. Bronco is big as hell and this Raptor (Should have been Warthog!), is as wide as a lady with 7 kids (bless her heart).

Baja runners ain't the only wheelers. I respect desert running, but there's more to it. If you're giving up the rocks to Jeep, this means the true comp is the 4 Runner, Defender, and nothing else for now.

Desert running is basically a horsepower war and the electrics will beat everyone at speed.

Yep. Straight to the trash, plus I doubt my dealer even gets to sniff a Braptor. They seem to be on Ford's shit list, so why even pursue it. I'll just wait for 2023 at this point.

Same, I felt special too, but then realized how unlucky I've been just trying to get a 2 door Badlands. July Res, Jan 2021 order, Oct. 2021 reorder, still no build date scheduled. If I tried to get a raptor, bet Ill never get a Bronco ever at this rate.

Just realized how lucky you are to get selected to start the waiting all over again. You’ve been selected to START over. If you clicked you were interested they probably 99’d your order.
