Bronco Raptor Interior Spied With Paddle Shifters, Digital Analog-Style Tach & Upgraded Dash

I tried to find a photo at a similar angle, but the best I could find was an old spy photo. But, aside from the gauges, I do notice there is no overhang over the screen/on the top of the dash (I included another photo to better show the overhang.

Otherwise, I don't see a difference as far as materials go, so I don't quite understand those going gaga over the dash itself - digital instrument cluster, yes I get that/want it, but the dash seems the same material wise aside from the overhang going away.

Who did you have do that change?

You know, I just saw this photo in the velocity blue thread that looks like exactly the same angle, and it looks the same to the Raptor spy shot, but we know there's a slight overhang on the Badlands there. I'm shifting back to thinking there is no change to the dash top itself, just an affect of the angle and lighting.

You are correct. The only change is the bezel for the cluster and the cluster itself. All the dash moldings are the same and only vary in finish.

I have these in my MKZ. Agreed. They look nice.

This is a 2015 model. The numbers on the dial are real, but everything inside of them is a digital rendering.

Ummm I think that little overhang is necessary to reduce sun glare on the screen!

Younger buyer here and I couldn’t agree more. On the Hybrid RAV4 my SO and I are getting? Sure who cares. Yes I know shifting by feel is a thing but the bar graph tach is garbage.

I will allow the shift lights on the wheel but only if it revs to 11k.

Call me old, but knobs are just easier to operate without taking your eyes off the road. The move to tablets and haptic touch is dangerous and distracting. I think I might be a car guy and was considering giving the Bronco to my wife and getting a GTI but the MK VIII knob-less hvac / infotainment is a no sale. Not every manufacturer needs to copy Tesla, hopefully it’s not too late to go back.

Too many buttons are not good either.

Yeah, I’d like to see more but it’s got to be better than the garbage gauge cluster that they put in the regular Bronco.

It is hard for me to get excited about the Bronco Raptor when Ford hasn’t figured out a way to deliver July 2020 reservations in 2022 and the F-150 Raptors are currently listed at $100k+

Yeah everyone keeps saying dash, but I think they're meaning the gauges.
