Bronco Raptor seatbelt reminder removal ForScan instructions!!

So there are some other threads saying this would happen but as always, trust but verify. I made the changes shown in this thread to my As-Built in the vehicle some time ago. I just had the ProCal Bronco Raptor tune installed and I just went to the Motorcraft website and looked at my AB data. It now reflects the changes I made...

This thread is an issue relevant only to the Bronco Raptor. The solution you are trying to provide does not solve that issue. Only forscan does

Ah, gotcha.

I do know the directions in the Lincoln Nautilus manual are wrong. I will check a Bronco Raptor at work to see if it uses the same process.

It's a totally different issue. You get a giant seat belt notification on the raptor whether you put the belt on or have it off. It will be green or red and takes up majority of the screen on the dash. And it is bronco raptor specific.

I'm about to make these changes (finally). A few questions:

1. Did these forscan changes disable your R button?
2. Did it come back with my battery disconnect tip?
3. Did these forscan changes cause the R icon to disappear despite being in your R mode?
4. Did you try a battery disconnect to fix that?

Just really hoping I can have my cake and eat it too here. Thanks in advance!

I didn't try a battery disconnect fix, my R button (along with the icon and all) just started working after the truck went to sleep for a few hours.

All is fine with mine. Planning on trying it on my Ranger Raptor as well.

yep, it broke Raptor mode for me once shortly after. Battery disconnect for 30 minutes fixed it and haven’t had an issue since. I never noticed the R icon missing but just checked and it’s still there.
