I believe it is a 2023 MY, which would mean a late 2022 release, but with Covid and the delay in releasing the Bronco next year, that could've been pushed back. 2023MY would follow the timing for the launches of the Gen 1/2 F150 Raptor

While I would love to own the Warthog, I don't see it being as iconic as the actual Bronco. I also can't see myself dropping $70K+ on something that I don't live in. I paid $98K for a nice 1500 sq ft home that was almost brand new with turnkey appliances. A few years down the road when they are reasonably priced used, I may make the jump and trade in the wife's Edge on the Warthog. Then we'll have two Broncos in the driveway (one for beating up and one for joyriding).

Nope, nope, nope... your math is all wrong. Currently we expect the 2021 MY to be released INTO 2022. So based off of Ford's math, and everything else they can't seem to deliver on (here's looking at you B&P rockstar crew). I'd expect a 2023 MY Raptor/Warthog to drop sometime around 2027 (December)! ?

How do we know this is raptor and not just aftermarket parts that ford will offer like a performance pack with tune and exhaust etc..

It has the super ugly camo roof - if you go through the Moab Bronco footage (off road porn) you will see one do a strip tease revealing a real roll cage - big X in back seat space between standard "sport cage". These must be early suspension change testers - no fiberglass explosion in roll over. These test drivers are warriors.

We just caught the upcoming Ford Bronco Raptor ("Warthog") undergoing testing on the streets of Michigan!

The Bronco Raptor prototype shows off its higher ground clearance, wider wheel arches, and a wider, more aggressive stance. The significant amount of thick camouflage covers up the majority of the vehicle, but the camo can only do so much to disguise what are clearly wider flares.

The prototype rides on a set of BF Goodrich AT All Terrain T/A tires, though we can't quite make out the size (it appears to be a 17inch rim). Out back, a single-exit, dual-tip exhaust is located on the driver’s side.

It's not clear what suspension upgrades are in place, but the Bronco Raptor is definitely expected to feature a more rugged and more capable chassis, even compared to the range-topping Wildtrak Bronco model.
