If they couldn't be bothered to mate the manual to the 2.7 then they aren't doing it for the 3.0. they would have to create a new Mt and validate it. Pretty sure that takes at least a few years

They ought to spend all this time and effort on getting everyone a quality hard top and orders produced timely and without issue then worry about the Raptor most will never get to see or touch. Complete bs that they are messing with this before they even have the regular bronco handled properly.

I don't believe it for a second and I still wouldn't get one. It would make at least 5-10 people happy though.

I'll believe this when I see it confirmed.

Not that it matters to me. While I love a manual, i have no interest in buying something as expensive as a raptor. I'll stick to my base 2dr mansquatch

These arguments are dumb. So you would have Ford shut down their (what used to be called) Special Vehicle Team, and what, put those engineers on the line building hard tops? The small team that is designing and testing the BRaptor has nothing to do with 6g operations and production.

Back on topic, I would be shocked if Ford all of the sudden stuck a manual in a BRaptor with 37's after it took this forum months of complaining/convincing/whining to Ford that we needed a ManSquatch.

That video is really stupid... they uncovered the vents? They discovered the measurements? The video is literally just the topics from this forum over the last month. This video is the epitome of lazy journalism.

agreed 100% ... future products must always move forward. I bet Ford already has a team working on the next gen Bronco.

Upgraded steering rack? He means the Bronco 2023 standard steering rack?

I know we can’t get this engine on our broncos, but the suspension, flares, and tires can be done. Make my own raptor and call it a Warthog.

anything can be done BUT usually at an insane price.

for example the Warthog will have live fox shocks ... which include lots of hardware and then software to program it.

This hardly affects me, as I have mine and I'm mostly happy. But im very sad to see others keep getting drug along. And the tops still aren't fixed or up to final quality standards. And yes they are taking resources as the Raptor shares many components with the regular bronco and they are taking $ that could've been spent on a proper or fixed launch of the regular bronco. Sorry you don't agree as that is your prerogative. But to aggressively poopoo my thoughts on this is just being unkind. As those on this side of the subject have legitimate thoughts and opinions just as you do.

But according to Ford if the 3.0l ecoboost never was designed for a manual they can't put one behind it... (Ford 2.7L MT logic). Also the 7 speed is scalable from the current 405 to 480 or 590 ft-lbs for max torque input, so it isn't a question of strength either.
