I'm calling bullshit on that. If Ford can paint a dually, they can paint this. Besides, they can paint parts before they're installed.
It's a total Ford lie. Painting those billboards would have made paint and primer contraint items on the assembly line.

They are saving a bunch of money by not painting them. That’s a lot of surface area.

I feel like everyone waiting for the "regular" Bronco (Sas or non) is already being thrown out-to-pasture with the announcement of this thing. It's like the regular Bronco is old news, but the vast majority of us are still waiting for our day in the sun. About the only things I DO like on the Braptor are the wheels (which get replaced anyway) and the functional vented hood. The rest of it is kinda ho-hum. 🤣 What'll REALLY annoy me is if someone gets their Braptor before I get my Badlands. 😉

Ughhh its almost like a billboard. wtf was Ford thinking here? who signed off on this garbage? and is that a fender flare with a mud flap also tacked on??? wow just wow

The front flares have these horrendous add on bonus flaps. I’m assuming it’s just because the giant bro tires stick out so far it would be assaulted by rocks and down to bare metal without them.
the gauge cluster is very cool, and I like the rock rail mounted steps. The rest of this hot box of trash gets worse the more I look at it.

The flares spread too much into the painted fender areas. The plastic fender spreading into the rear door is particularly ugly.

Maybe use another way to reinforce and stabilize the flares by hiding a metal bracket tied to something underneath the fenders. Instead of increasing the surface area of the plastic....

Another consideration is maybe this has to do with aerodynamics. As long as its easily removable, this problem will be fixed by aftermarket or someone with a 3d printer and epoxy.

Meh putting performance and market value aside, in the looks department, I wouldnt swap my OBX sas lux AMB for this. And that’s with zero hesitation. I thought it was the holy grail before with the FE, and maintain that position moreso with the 2022 changes on the WT…and the Raptor. But more in a classical sense

‘Everybody hates it‘ should move me to the front of the list, but for some reason I think not. I like the view from behind the steering wheel. Can’t wait to get this!

Another option is to just get the Braptor in Shadow black, the flares will come off as almost body color.

Why does no one know if these can be removed or not?🤔
Per the Ford engineer on the latest TFL video they do. But it’s Ford so you know…

I am not a fan of those flares either but to me it looks 100% better when those giant flares are painted to match the body. Looks more Raptor like to me too. I dont know why Ford couldn't have done this for the launch.

Looks way better!! To me the rear flares were the ugliest.
yep, they can't decide between square and round and then just said fuck it towards the end, LOL.
No way I'd drive anything with that crap on it, just comically ugly.
