Bronco Raptors at Mecum Auction end at $155K and $130K winning prices

I was at mecum Schaumburg this week, saw a black raptor sell for 130k +10% commission and a white one sell for 155k + commission. Crazy money. Got mine for sticker at Milo Peterson Ford in MN. Order through JACK And save yourself.

You might walk away with $25-30k after all-in costs, seller fees and taxes on gains. But then what are you replacing it with (without any existing reservation)?

Nothing, except to build my 1973 F250 4X4 as a complete custom redux from axels to Engine. @Ford Motor Company has caused the current climate by not honoring current reservation holders and only providing vehicles to dealers and special interest groups. Most if not all reservation holders had to give up their dream specifications in order to obtain a Bronco. MY original order back in September 2020 still cannot be built; constraints aside it is the hard top that @Ford Motor Company cannot or is unwilling to solve and this is their ultimate failure.

First one (Black Bronco Raptor) went for 130k.

Second one (White Bronco Raptor) went for $155k.

Each with under 100 miles. Remember there are buyer fees (10% commission) on top of that.

These bidders get caught up the excitement of an auction? Egos bidding? A simple google search, Autotrader, Ebay, 6xTrader, Cars and Bids one can find a handful well under 130k. Where were these guys when I had a fully loaded Bronco Raptor for sale at 125?

Drunk rich men making bad decisions to impress their buddies, their girlfriends and other rich people. Nobody gets value with a bidding process and a 10% sales charge. But these people don’t care.

Also ease of purchase I guess. Just raise your hand.
