Bronco rear seats do not fold down flat? - they fold down ramp

really really need a definate answer on this. if thats as far as they go that really sucks and i would hate to rip them out.

wish ford had reps to answer questions like this

My Isuzu has two down positions. A fold and a flip. The fold has the same bump as the Bronco (although larger), but you can then do the flip and it opens up a lot of flat(ish) space. Here’s an example on an Explorer.

Doesn’t look like this prototype does that because the headrest folds backwards so the front seat would need to go even more forward.

Oh, I know. I was just pointing out another way it could be done for a flat floor. Bronco seats definitely don’t flip. Fingers crossed for flat.

4door does, I assume you can do the same with the 2 door.

Edit: You also need to move the bottom cushion forward and lower it.

I think buddy just bunged up the folding. I honestly didn't know that the seats in our Escape folded flat for years. I always just leaned them forward. I didn't realize that you could flip up the bottom of the seat for the back of the seat to lay flat in. I'd never had such wild technology like that in any vehicle!

What's the random bolt? That what secures the door that you have to take out in order to slide door off its post?

Give them a break. They wanted to get the "information" out there as fast as possible. It's not like they had an extra several months due to delays to finalize things...

The seats will fold flat on production models. This truck is one of the early full mock ups and has lots of random mismatched non production parts.
