After dealiing with the website issues last night I was able to reserve an Outer Banks at 1am in Virginia. I may have indicated 2dr but will likely switch to 4dr due to the no soft top option in the 2dr. Already heard from the local Ford dealership this morning! Nice touch.

Weird question, but when you trade in a vehicle what is the dealership looking for? (Mileage? Damage, Age?) I'm asking because I've never done a trade-in before.

2 door, Black Diamond, not first Ford but it's been awhile, no Jeep history, unsure of trade.

Pre-ordered me a 2dr Badlands with the 7 speed Manual! Disappointed the V6 is Auto only, but Ford Performance's tune on the Ranfer 2.3 gives it 320hp & 355 torque, so that's something I'll be doing! Better to have 10 more horsepower than the V6 and only 45 fewer torque than 40 fewer horsepower and 90 fewer torque!

Ordered a 4dr Badlands but they assigned it to a dealer 2,500 miles away. I contacted them and they said to bad you can't change it, you will have to cancel the order and get in the back of the line with a new order. I tried explaining that their location lookup was corrupted last night for a while but they did not care.

Not true. From the FAQ I received from my Dealer thanking me for my reservation:

Can Customers update their dealer selection for their reservation?
Customers can reach out to Ford Customer Support for assistance should they need to change dealers.

Also, from the same FAQ. Seems like they will be building and shipping by model/edition:

Will reservations be fulfilled in the order placed?
Reservations will be fulfilled in approximately the same order received, based on final ordering and production of similarly configured Broncos. All reservations will be completed before production of stock units begins

EDIT: ....aaaaaand now that I scrolled back up I see that BroncoFanBoy pretty much posted the same thing, so at least it is now doubly confirmed

Tried for 2 hours last night, with no success. Went on this morning, and reserved my 4 door Badlands. Now the long painful wait till I can put in an actual order. I hope Ford is smart enough to take the orders of all the reservations and uses them to code their production line for the first month(s).
