So this actually goes WAAY back. I met a guy at the Talking Stick casino who was an engineer at Ford. He was a bit talkative, but wasn’t on the Bronco project specifically. (He did autonomous vehicles stuff I don’t remember what exactly.)

When I asked him about Bronco he had seen prototypes but wouldn’t divulge much. What he did say is Bronco would be a part of the Ford performance lineup through and through, along with the implications that come from that. Now I think that may be changing since the whole “Icon” group has come around, but those implications remain in the Bronco’s design intent. This is a special vehicle.
So bronco sport will be 200k units per year. The real Bronco will be limited edition like Raptor and GT500.

So we're now looking at lower production (higher priced) vs sales volume?
Ford will be looking to outsell the wrangler. Not first MY but eventually

The only implication that would worry me about that scenario would be 1) Limited Production 2) Price Premiums as a result of number 1 as well as ADM in the beginning. Lets hope that is not one of the implications for the free worlds sake.

My next guess is the Bronco will only have a 3500 lb tow capacity.

Still spitballing here: there will be no low end model like Jeep has with the Wrangler Sport. Bronco will start much higher optioned and $$.

Don’t get too excited about a July reveal. At this rate I believe Aliens are up, haven’t you seen Independence Day?

That would put me out of the running. Personally the only Bronco I'm interested in would be a Wrangler Sport equivalent 4 door, 2.3, manual, hard top, nothing extra (daily driver / campsite rig.) I am very price conscious and live for value to $. And no, I would not go to the Wrangler because FCA.

What competition? Jeep? Nothing is going to change with Jeep. New color. New engine that'll push the price of one to $86,000. Maybe LED on lower trims. Woo.

Nobody is going to steal Bronco's thunder.
Well if they combine the best features of the Mojave (Shocks, bump stops, beefier frame, dessert runner locker mode, cool wheel and bolstered seats) with the Rubicon (disconnects, lower transfer case gearing, front lockers) and throw in a eco diesel or hemi? The Bronco turn feature is software, so that could be done too.

When, before you sign on the dotted line for your new Bronco...Place the pen down on the desk, and insist on a 25% dealership discount on the all new Bronco accessories in the contract (in writing).. This, for as long as you own the Vin#, Bronco...
Does this work?

Does anyone remember seeing ChrispyKC post about “#37 Joe Delaney was one hell of a Chief”

It was quite random and was of context in the thread it was posted in.

Another member found that Joe passed away on June 29. Apparently he was trying to save two drowning children and died trying to.

I wonder if June 29 posses another significant date within Ford’s reveal timeline?

Also, if the reveal is next month will we be seeing broncos with less camo anytime soon?

Any real reason to believe Ford this time? Haven't they announced the "reveal" a couple times already? Is there anything stopping Ford from running the same image in July that says "August!"
I don't think Ford (and probably every other vehicle manufacturer) gets that 99% of the people out there don't care about any fancy "reveal!" with one of the manufacturer's executives up there giving a speech. I'm a car (and truck) nut, I read and watch a lot about vehicles I'll never even consider owning, but I've never listened to even one of those speeches, nor watched any fancy made up video about a new vehicle.
I'm probably like all of you; I want to see the photos, I will read and study all the specifications, and decide if the vehicle is something that would work for me. I pay much more attention to independent reviews, both magazines, online and video reviews, as opposed to anything that a manufacturer puts out.
Ford should just release real world photos, release the specs, and forget about "Bronco Nation!" (lame) which I couldn't care less about, and forget about some big production for the reveal.

This is definitely the most plausible reason for him leaving. Either someone at Ford told him to get off or he's just being careful now that the reveal is so close. People have been complaining on here for as long as I've been lurking around. I doubt he's leaving now because people are complaining. I'm sure he'll still be lurking around here watching down on us.
Like an angel from above ❤

We already know it won't be SFA...Can't think of too many things that would warrant full-on REEEEEEEE...

Let's see...
-Pushed to 2022
-Only 4 banger, not even a V6
-4 banger or hybrid
-No rear locker, only electronic traction like Toyota
-AWD, not 4WD
-bespoke suspension that cannot be lifted without great cost
-No full off-road variant

I'll think of some more later lol
Pretty sure a lot of yotas have actual lockers in the rear from the factory. I'm curious what he's referring to tho ?
