Space X launched a rocket into space with humans on board without addressing these concerns.
My point exactly. That was a huge moment in history - 2 astronauts were sent to the ISS on a privately built rocket. It was big news for a couple days at the MOST. Haven't heard a thing about it since. Still seeing lots about the coronavirus and the protests though....

SpaceX also isn't interested in selling me a rocket. Also, that was a MOMENTOUS occasion - 2 astrnounts were sent to the ISS on a privately built rocket. A SpaceX Launch and the Bronco reveal couldn't possibly be any more different.
I believe space x has some - although slightly limited experience w/ an automobile launch. ?

I wish we had visuals on that Tesla. I'm curious to see how it's holding up after 2+ years in orbit.
At the least, it prob could use a coat of wax.

I'd like to know where this Ford dealer is. Because the ones within 50 miles of my home, will give you that same $3-7k off which consists of you putting that $3-7k down. Maybe they just don't like me.
What it boils down to is I don't trust internet pricing as far as I can throw it. Unless its specifically spelled out on the Ford website (not dealership's site) I don't trust it.

The dealers often put every single incentive together (like College, first responders, military) that 99.99% of the population won't qualify for all of them

As for CrispyKC, I'm guessing that Ford might have an NDA thing that people who are part of the Bronco selling teams at dealerships have to sign til the launch. Just easier to "leave" and come back so you don't lose your job.

Alexa play “Dust in the wind”

As for dealership pricing yeah it’s all horseshit. As discussed previously about the“28k wrangler unlimiteds” that everyone talks about being available that don’t really exist. Sure the car is $28k but you also have to do dealer financing with a $1k fee, $750 worth of floor mats, $500 undercoating, $500 window tint, $3000 oil change and extra warranty, $500 tire replacement thing, etc. it’s all bullshit and if you try and cancel something that costs $1k then the cost of the vehicle goes up $900.

I can only speak to my experience with Internet pricing. When I bought my F-150, the internet price I was given only changed in 2 ways. It lowered due to the trade-in and then we added the extended warranty. Everything else was what was agreed upon. I was talking to 3 different dealerships at the time.

Now that was the first time I ever used that system and I felt my expectations were met.

A friend of mine bought a Toyota Rav4. She went in person, got frustrated with the sales/finance people and left. I told her to try and internet and price out a bunch at once vs driving around. She ended up getting the exact version she wanted at a price the live person could get it to plus several extras that she was very happy about.

In central Florida, we have at least 5 Ford Dealerships within a 30 minute drive, around 15 if you go for an hour, and 2 hours will get you a slew more. I really want a Bronco but, just like the F-150, I have a slew of places I can choose to buy from - and I plan on at least starting on the internet.

YMMV

I get plan pricing, so that cuts a large amount of BS out.

Not really. Brand new Rangers are all $5K below sticker. F150s anywhere from 7-10K off. Fusions averaging $6K off. Mustangs 4500-7K. Apple Ford in Columbia, MD
So I checked out the dealer site and do see the "typical" $30k MSRP, Apple Ford Price $25k.. or whichever. Did the chat through the site to ask questions and waiting for a "Specialist" to contact me through email about this. So far, looks like every other Ford site I've been on, but I'll give them a shot.

The place where we bought our last 3 Fords typically has everything $3-7K off sticker price. So maybe I’ll snag one when they start doing that for Broncos.
When I bought my JLU Wrangler the dealer near me wouldn't negotiate. Drove 20 minutes to the next town and got 1 % over invoice.
