So I was thinking now that we are all the "leaks", what if the reason they haven't test or shown it with any roof yet is because all the roofs are from aftermarket company's?

Dunno. But I'd be interested in a cored carbon fiber roof, and side Frames with eisenglass windows.

Might build one myself!

If what broncokong mentioned, about the push button sliding soft top, was right. I think this could be epic. I personally kind of hate the sun beaming on my head, but I do like the idea of riding with the doors off and and a soft top.

Why on earth would they do that?
It would save them money, rather than engineering an entirely removable roof they just hire some aftermarket comapany like Chevy does with there carbon fiber. wranglers already have a crap ton of aftermarket roofs. Kinda makes sense

Well, Ford isn't making the axles apparently either, but I have yet to see a prototype without an axle. I don't think that's how it works.

I could see some different options available. A cheap ragtop, a less cheap hard shell, and an expensive push button convertible type thing.... You know, like Jeep. Based on different patents, I think Ford got creative in this area.

Zero chance they are leaving all tops to aftermarket companies. Not saying that there won't be aftermarket tops available for the Bronco, but there is literally zero chance that Ford is not bringing the Bronco to market without their own top(s)...though certainly they might have partnered with an aftermarket company to produce said top(s).

I think Bestop manufactures the Jeep Wrangler JL OEM soft tops. Formerly Bestop made only aftermarket tops (which they still offer as well). I do think Ford will offer the soft top as a buying option, regardless if they make it in-house, or it comes from a 3rd party (like various other parts on the vehicle).

The removable roll cage has me wondering in there is a “structured” hard top version that allows removal of the cage like the late FSBs, as well as soft or “non-structured” hard tops that require use of the cage. Also, could see sloped rear hard tops like the FSB and more squared / vertical rear hard tops like the EB. They haven’t shown a single top which means the top, much like the front, is a big part of the reveal. How the top integrates with the pillar behind the rear door will also be interesting (again could allow for FSB sloping of EB squared looks).

Definitely interested to see how the top(s) integrate. Though I've seen it mentioned, I would be surprised to see a removable roll cage...just seems at odds with liability concerns. I do hope it's at least a two piece hard top just in terms of being easier to handle when removing. I've done the hoist thing with Jeeps, but being able to grab one section at a time is handy when you're on vacation somewhere and want to take the hard top off.

Agreed that the top and front end will be the money shots.

The B and C pillars look awful without the top, so it would be nice if they came out like some patents suggest, but I'm not sure what they could be replaced with that would seal against a frameless door window and not look look just as awful when topless.

You know, we were discussing how large the area over the sun visors seemed - what if that area houses a large retractable fabric top that slides back over the cabin when the roof is off?
