Ever wonder if some of those hairpin turns on the offroad trails are going to start getting that 'Bronco Rut' from the inside tire on the trail turn assist mode?

Something came up and was showing the Bronco doing 'donuts' and that little rut was pretty noticable... Curious how long before it becomes a nusiance and potentially not allowed on some trails?

I don't want anything to do with your trail rituals.
Brings a whole new meaning to "tread lightly"...

You seem like kind of person that would be on an HOA board
At the Off Rodeo in Moab, they only had one spot they would let us test the trail turn assist because of the damage it does to the trail.

Usually the line you take with trail turn is not the same line you would have without it. So I guess the first guy to use it has a clean trail and it gets rutted for everyone after. Being a manual trans without that option, I’m not really affected by people who use it responsibly on hairpins since I’m doing a multi point turn that won’t touch the ruts made by trail turn assist.

Enjoy that badass feature that only comes on the autos!

I wonder about the damage also.
Look at a current Bronco/Wrangler and compare the tire track width to say a CJ5 or Gen 2 Bronco. How many trails had to become wider to accommodate the newer beasts? On very tight trails where the turn assist is likely to be used, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next few years.

I went off roading this weekend and noticed that it does damage the trail. Luckily, I carry a small shovel in my rig so I just pause right after the turn and filled it with dirt and packed it down by jumping on it.
