These look like they’d be pretty spot on! looking at these it’d have to be cyber orange or velocity blue for me.

still wish they had a green option...

Tough choices. Dark colors look good with white contrasts and VB looks with white or black contrasts. VB at first look in full sun looked too bright, but in the shade it looks great. If Ford was doing Explorer Atlas Blue this would be a no brainer.

Since all Broncos are now going to be late availability, we should be able to get Velocity Blue right away. That's my theory.

Why does the simple oxford white appeal to me? I was sure it was cyber orange..
I think for some reason the lighter colors tend to make the lines of The Bronco standout more, plus the black wheels pop more...
After seeing the white one on the production floor I started thinking about going that route also. It just looks so clean with the stark contrast of the black parts. I also think it's the best choice if you plan on doing a vinyl wrap. Unless you get the door jambs wrapped, the white wouldn't look bad if you took the doors off.

Somehow I missed the fact that velocity blue is late availability. When did they establish that and why? I was all for Cyber Orange but I went to my Ford dealer where my reservation is yesterday and stalked around the lot to check out the colors. I found Velocity blue and I decided that I want that instead but now I’m seeing something about it not being available? :(

I have a lightning blue mustang, the velocity blue is sorta close to it. The only way I would do a blue bronco is if the white top/grill is an option, if not I think I am down to my original A51 choise or CG.

I LOVE the velocity blue. Looks pretty close to the color on our 76. If I could get a new one in velocity blue with a white top and grill... oh boy.

can someone explain what the deal is with velocity blue being a late arrival color?

I have a paint sample of Area 51. Below is an accurate representation. It is darker than the original post.

Fitting that they called it Area 51 -- impossible to know the truth until you see it in person.

I asked this question right when it was announced that it was late availability and got a kinda half baked answer from a Ford employee that used to frequent the site. That somehow that since it was a late addition to the official color palette it affects how soon parts and the Bronco can be painted in that color.

Makes zero sense doesn't it?
