Welcome to 5/8/2023 Build Week! It’s been lonely since my HE was scheduled for 4/24 and bumped to 5/1, then bumped to 5/8.

On the bright side I can enjoy my Thursday and not spend it refreshing my email in disappointment.

Not that my guess is any better than anyone else...it seems that they are running three week cycles: the first week they open the next three week wave with specialty builds. The second week, they schedule the big wave of orders. Then the third week is a clean-up. My guess is that the week of March 23rd (next week) will have a big wave of schedules.

I called Ford to get a status. I was told that Ford accessed my build file on Monday. I was told that they could not tell me more other than someone had worked on my file. Is this anything to get excited over?

I just had my question answered. Build week for my Braptor is 5/29.

So Heritage and BRaptors only? That's going to be a light scheduling week for the second week in a row. Only one more scheduling day before order banks open back up. This sucks...

How does this work? I have no remaining constraints. They're not building my order. And now they're going to let a bunch of new orders go through for the same vehicle, and potentially build and sell those before mine, all because those people ordered through a dealer who sells more vehicles than the one I chose?

All I know is that every time I have ever received an email from Ford on a Tuesday it was to say my build date has been pushed back. So I’m just hoping to get through tomorrow with no emails from Ford!

Well I wanted to let you know I got scheduled last week for the specialty builds, my build date is April 24th as of now. I ordered back in September and just received my Vin and build date. Dealer said could see it here by May or early June. I ordered a carbonized grey outerbanks with onyx interior with the brown leather, lux package, tow package, hard and soft top, auxiliary switches. Can't wait for it to come in!!!
