We see many late-comer build-dates w MIC & other 'sins' -
Similar w loaded dealer stock on lots -

Ford could be using large number of scheduling dates for random new orders & dealer stock - Trying to keep the Bronco market 'live' for new walk-in customers -

Otherwise the dealer walk-in market would be totally dead, w years-long wait almost guaranteed -

I think people are overthinking this and giving Ford to much credit for creativity. The dealer walk in market can be easily supported by dealers creating buildable stock orders against their allocations. This is what they’d do to sell Broncos when they have reservation based orders that can’t be built timely due to constraints.
