Uhhhhh was production stopped at points in September or is this just all they were able to make? Does refitting the tops slow production line even though it’s out of the mod center or whatever? Not looking good for the other 100,000+ of us….???? Anyone have information to explain my naivety in this matter?
Production at MAP for the last half of September was largely focused on Ranger, with most of the effort on Bronco focused on MIC 2.0 hard top retrofits to clear Work-In-Process (WIP) inventory on QC hold in storage lots (largely worked on overtime).

I kind of read it as produced Bronco (25k) less the month of September = 21,621 build through August, and 10,204 delivered/sold by September. Guess the difference of 11k (21.6k minus 10.2k) is demo (I think we had estimated 7k) with the rest held back at Dirt Mountain for MIC top, and some others held back for non-MIC related issues.
To your point re demos… 5,000 Broncos in stock across the country. I’d guess vast majority of those are demo Broncos.

Lets be optimistic and consider possibly Ford can achieve August's rate of production to 8000 and stay there for the 2.5 months left in 2021 production (2022 supposedly starts mid-December)

That would be around 45,500 total 2021 MY Bronco production, not even half of the orders. And a far cry from the number of Wranglers being spit out of Toledo (they average annual sales in excess of 200,000)

In what fantasy world does Ford management think they can achieve anywhere near even half of that? Annualized production capacity at MAP counting all Broncos AND Rangers for 9 months so far seems to be a maximum of 139,000 vehicles. To achieve projections I would think that either Bronco or Ranger production would have to be related to another plant

With around 3,000 dealers with one mannequin per, and mine at dealer by end of September but not yet in my hands that leaves 1,999 still out there LOL

Now that MIC 2.0 is in production and other commodities have caught up, I suspect that September numbers for both production and sales will be the low point for the next twelve months.

I am sure the produced would match the sold if they actually shipped out any of our built broncos that are just sitting at map.

This just might be the most 'exclusive' vehicle I've ever owned. At least for a year or two before it becomes more mainstream.
Below is what I used to drive. 15-18 was one body style, 19-20 was another. A 2019 or 2020 is probably one of the most rare cars available in the US. Less of those around than a LOT of exotics. I had a 15, of that body style there were less than 5500 in the whole country, but the 19-20 body style there are less than 700 in the US in total.

RZ, with in-transit inventory of Broncos up nearly 200% I'm hoping that's good. Just one thing I'm wondering. Where in the world are those 520 unsold units? And, is one of them mine? I doubt that last question, but I can dream.....right. :)

Bronco production really fell off in September from the previous few months. Ouch. 25,539 built through the end of September.
Ya, that was way lower than what I would have expected, that's pretty sad actually. No wonder they slammed so many vehicles into the November/December schedule (or so it appears from the traffic on the message board). Still no evidence of my August build getting fixed anytime soon, but new hard top Broncos are being built, because reasons....

Units sold and units produced are essentially flat. That's a positive sign compared to past months. Hopefully October will have a heavy imbalance towards units sold.
