I’m turning 50. I’ve been working in an office since my 20s. I’ve been riding mass transit for school or work since 1994.

IDGAF what is the MPG on this thing. Imma ride off into the sunset on the weekends playing Bluesy rock and rockin’ blues, guzzling gas during the day and drinking whiskey in the evening.
I'm with you!!(y)

It doesn't require premium. HP rating is with premium, so premium for max performance. Others have said they get better fuel mileage with premium, but not sure if that would offset the difference in price.

My current truck requires premium and was hoping the 2.7 Bronco wouldn't. Sounds like I'll still be using premium in the Bronco, but it's nice to know I can use regular (have to check min octane again)
Makes sense. I was hoping to get away from premium at full HP because I've been paying premium for years. It's not the end of the world since I'm already used to it. It would have just been a bonus.

I've always been a believer in Smiles Per Gallon.

The long black Cadillac that takes you on your last ride to the cemetery only gets 12 mpg, so live it up while you can!
Mine will run on veggie oil thank YOU!

I'd take that.

Get the 2.3 manual and I bet you can get more on the highway non sas
I bet you are right. But I'm not getting a 45k truck manual non SAS so I can get 2 mpg more. Get your gas at a station 10 cents cheaper and call it even.

How’s it been reliability wise?
I bought a 2010 Jetta Sportwagen TDI new and it was the best car I ever owned. Sold it back to VW at 120k miles after the scandal. Didn't do a single thing to it other than change the oil and replace the battery. Bought a used 2013 model after VW "fixed" them and put them back into the market. Found a used A3 TDI for my daughter. Love these cars.

So based on that theory my 25 mpg is considered poor? Because I know I bitch alot about gas prices, and I don't see why most people don't when they go up? Oil companies make Billions in profit every quarter and yet gas prices jump higher every time a camel sneezes! What's not to complain about?
You want good gas mileage? Get an electric or a motorcycle. Oil companies don’t set the prices. OPEC manipulates cost of crude.

25mpg? You’re in a fairytale. Sticker might say 24? You getting 19 hwy

No. Sticker said 31 highway if I remember correctly. I get 24. Not 19...24. But what am I defending here again?

I scrolled through 6 pages of people complaining about MPG's just to see if someone would mention this lol

I’m saying if sticker says 24 you’ll get 19. Sticker is fictitious. Like they’re driving 55mph on salt flats with a wind blowing in the direction they’re going.

My 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser gets about 12.5mpg overall, I’ll be happy with whatever the new Bronco delivers. And I’ll bet if you drive at under 75 on a long road trip a 2.7 may be >20 mpg. Just calculate the annual cost difference of say 5mpg over a year driving 12,000 miles and its really not too much...
