Can you share the matched competition for the sport? Curious if its Subaru. I get Subaru ascent vibes
Seems its closest competition is the Subaru Forester & Crosstrek, and the Jeep Cherokee & Compass

I saw one in person today , even tho I’m going for a “Big Bronco” I thought the Sport is pretty cool. Will be more then capable to do adventurous stuff. I like it a lot more then the current Escape.

I can't wait to see cactus grey in person. It's that or white for me. I feel like I'll know the moment I see a CG sport if that's the color for me or not.
That’s exactly how I felt, and I saw CG today. And I have decided that is the color I want.

I actually really like the look of the sport. If they only came out with that as the Bronco I would have ordered it and been happy.
I was all set to order a Sport BL in Area 51.... until I found out it can't be towed...A non-starter for me.

Looking at the pictures, I'd say that the bar has been significantly raised for the crossover segment. Whole different level than the rest...

Wait. The Bronco sport gets green? I'm so jealous right now....

A green vinyl wrap right after paying for the Bronco is going to bankrupt me but I'm going to do it anyway lol
Crap, and the design elements i was hoping for on the inside. Deep breath, stay focused. . .

My thoughts exactly, same thing when the Raptor went 6cyl. Then I went Escape shopping with my wife. Honestly the 3cyl does a good job.
I was able to talk her up to the 4cyl and AWD but there was some resistance after test driving both. We did drive a 3cyl AWD as well with no issues.
At least the Escape does offer the 4cyl on lower trim models and I except the Sport will as well. Ford does make running changes during model years based on demand.
If you're gonna off road a Sport you'll want the BL anyway for the rear drive unit and tire size/ ground clearance..

People that buy these are often hyper focused on MPG. Typical small SUV customer probably looks at the Bronco engine choices and thinks "WTF, a twin turbo V6 in a mid sized SUV, these people are crazy".

Haha
I currently drive a sedan with decent mpg. I test drove the Ford f 150 earlier this week to get a feel for the 2.7 engine. I put it in sports mode and just watched the fuel gauge race down to E in real time. Horrifying! Hoping the Bronco can do better but I'm bracing for whatever it'll end up being
