Can’t wait to see these in person. Doug DeMuros video was great
Interesting to note the BS is one inch shorter in length compared to the two door Bronco. (172.7 vs 173.7)
Other interesting notes,
The EB was smaller than a new Ecosport.
The 4dr 6G is the longest Bronco ever by 6".
Wildtrak trim is 79.3 inches wide with the mirrors folded, exactly the width of the 1978 model and slightly wider than a '92.
A new F150 is 79.9", Ranger 77.8", BS 74.3" or super size me, Raptor 86". Wrangler, 73.8" w/o mirrors.
So much for the "I'll get a Bronco for the tight trails"

I think it's a nice looking small SUV. I've got no particular interest in it though.

Straw poll: how many would buy a Sport Badlands if it also had a removable hard top and roll bars? I might be tempted if the front hood was less aero and more boxy.

It came dangerously close to the Jeep JL... and he may have wanted to:

1. Not have to explain how the JL lost to, or was equal to the Bronco Sport when they are vying for the same relative market, and obviously the JL is a more “weekend car”

2. Leave some head room for his big Bronco review to receive a higher score.

The fact that he scored it higher than the 4Runner is remarkable.

Me, to be perfectly honest. I love the way both broncos look outside, and actually prefer the interior on the sport, but every time I'm cruising through the mountains in my current vehicle I just wish I could pop the doors and roof off. Actually heck, just the doors would be fine. I'd prefer something skinnier than the new bronco. I don't need massive tires.

Oh, and gotta have that manual transmission.

He uses the whole scale from 1-10. Most Americans give a "7" has average on that scale (like 70% or "C"). As an example, Germans, use "5".

German survey data actually has better credibility and precision because of that.

Then the 30s on a base bronco Manual seems perfect for you, at $30K out the door.

I was impressed with some of the review videos and frankly, had a Bronco not been coming, this may have been on my radar.

But unlike the opinions on Bronco Trims, clearly the ONLY Sport that should be bought is the Badlands with the BL package. Buying a 3 cycle engine in an off-road... sorry, that by definition is a mall-crawler!

The sport looks OK but needs a low range TC and more power, perhaps an air lift suspension. Perhaps in the years to come.

Not to burst your bubble, but go to the Ford website and look for the Bronco, it is listed under the SUV tab
Yeah. Still a truck. So's the Expedition. At least they say SUVs and Crossovers instead of trying to claim an EcoSport is an SUV. edit: NVM they call it an SUV on its page lmao
