Finally found the elusive blue. Been searching for this one for quite a while.

Customized the Maisto 1:18 model to match my build. Combined parts from a Wildtrak and a Badlands so I could have removable doors and top. Although I could have done essentially the same thing with just a WT, the BL body didn't need to be modified.

Where did you find the Cactus Grey? I've been looking everywhere for it.

I spray painted it to match my build. As far as I know Maisto doesn't produce this color.

What was the name and brand of the spray paint you found to match it so close? Is your profile pic the one you did? How did you get the retro bronco logo on that if you painted it all. It looks amazing!

The 'Essentials' spray can option.

I printed water slide decals for the Bronco script on the fenders, and the bucking bronco and Ford emblem on the swing gate since I painted over the original decals. I had to use a touch of silver paint underneath the Ford emblem to show through the clear parts of the decal.

Post some photos if you decide to go this route!

Either the Traxxas TRX-4 or something from RC4WD. I'm hoping to use the two New Bright bodies (hard top and open top) on the TRX-4, because it's currently a Bronco anyway, and my two RC4WD chassis are for an FJ40 and a Toyota Pickup.

This is the TRX-4 RTR as purchased, and I'll need to shorten the wheelbase to make the '21 bodies work:

I have the freewheeling '78 shell on my Traxxas, but built a matching one for my truck too. Eventually when my wife's '22 comes in I'll be making a green 4door for her as well

It looks amazing. Thanks again for sharing the links. Will be nice to have some touch up paint and a spray paint option too incase any projects come up.

For a late/Christmas birthday present, we painted the little guys truck to match grandma's
