after looking closer I tend to agree they would look better if they matched the fender line and basically were not visible from the side.

So your suggesting if you dont have these trail sights on the truck it cant function anywhere but on the road only? Seems like a stupid argument. Alot of people like cleaner lines and those sights to me are an eyesore

Correct, I dont need the trail sights. Ford been putting the wheels in the same spots for 119 yrs. I think Ive got a good understanding of where they are without that stupid plastic thing sticking up.
