Still think “Bronco Sport” was a bad name.

Should of named it Maverick Sport. Shares the same platform as the Maverick… and it’s a nice throwback to the Ford Maverick of the 1990s that sold in Europe.

BUT… whatever.
100% agree.. I def don’t hate them. Just think it’s weird they both have BRONCO on their grills

They want Bronco to be its own sub brand. So they need more than one model for the line I guess.

Ford planned to call it the Bronco Scout. Much better than Sport. Unfortunately, Ford didn't actually want to pay VW for the rights to use the name Scout.
(VW ended up with the IP when they bought International's transmission subsidiary)

I'd happily drive a Sport for a couple years while waiting on my Bronco if Ford would simply put a damn stick shift in one.

I automatically hate all vehicles with automatic transmissions. Soul sucking, sadness inducing, self-shifting transmissions.

I mean really, would it be that hard for Ford to offer a manual in the Sport. I don't even need 7 gears, a 5-speed Tremec would be fine.

Not nearly as bad as calling the Mach E a Mustang, but definitely a miss.
