That’s awesome!!!! ? Would love to know the motor in the Bronco. Assume it’s the 2.7/auto/SQ 4.70 gears. I’ve mentioned it before, but one day, midweek (early 90s) I was at Silver Lake and watched a Ford SHO powered buggy race a GM Quad 4 powered buggy for several hours. It was me on my 4 wheeler , two semis full of Ford and GM engineers and a few other people out on the dunes. Can’t wait to get out there again.

I will be pleasantly surprised if that’s the 2.3l! Sand is a huge power suck.

Ima guess this is a 2.7 just because it almost kept up with the 3.5 of the raptor, if it is the 2.3 then goddamn that’s good !!!!
The Raptor is a much larger vehicle. I would bet its the 2.3. I haven't even seen a 2.7 pre production model out in the wild yet.

If the Raptor locked his rear for launch and had a torsen up front, or was in baja mode, I say a 2.7 was in the bronco, if just 4hi on Raptor and no torsen, maybe a 2.3...point is, tough to guess when you dont know what the Raptor was doing.

From what I have seen, the Bronco isn’t much lighter than the F150 (5k bs 5.5k?). The Raptor may be heavier than a regular F150? Still would be surprising in the sand for the 2.3 to keep up that well. Hopefully we find out!
