I got all confused when I read the Suzuki Jimny name.

First thing I thought was oh hey, the Isuzu Jimmy is getting updated?
Then I was like, wait, it's called the Isuzu Amigo, and it's getting updated?
Then I thought Oh wait a Jimmy, no that's GMC.
It's a Suzuki? There's a Suzuki Jimmy? Oooohhhh, its a Suzuki Jimny!!
I must be getting old.

We'll never see it in North America (Mexico excluded) due to emission standards. It's only still for sale in Europe because Suzuki removed the rear seats and said it's a commercial vehicle (a little loophole).

If you watch the video, it sounds like they’re in Mexico and Japan has them too. Looks like they’re in quite a few countries, except Canada/USA.

It's sold pretty much everywhere but Canada/US.

All through Asia, Australia, South Africa (probably more countries in Africa too), Europe, I think South America and Mexico .

The Jimny/Samurai has a tainted image in America because of a Consumer Reports review of it back in the 80's. Probably another reason it will never be for sale here again which is upsetting .
