Content was kind of blah. I get it's an opinion piece and we've all beaten the specs to death but there really wasn't much talk of anything beyond the Jeep's 2.0L and the Bronco has 35s.

One likes one, the other likes the other. Jeep v Bronco. Bronco v. Jeep.

Short versionā€¦one guy likes the Bronco because it drives nicer. Other guy likes the Wrangler because the Bronco drives nicer, which makes him have to be more ā€involvedā€ with driving the Wrangler, which makes him feel more in tune with the vehicle and nature.

Don't want one and can't get the other.:)
To be fairā€¦ the one you donā€™t want you also canā€™t get now either. šŸ˜‚. Was reading itā€™s about a 6-month wait for an ordered Jeep now.

I have to admit that I totally get what he means by involving. The Jeep kinda has an agricultural feel to it that IS endearing. I have owned 5 now and they all have this kinda fun factor built in. It does not matter if itā€™s an old CJ, YJ or even the newer JK/JL. With the top down and doors off just rolling around off road or even in a mall parking lot, itā€™s super fun. Itā€™s involving in a way that nothing else of its kind is.

Several other vehicles of other kinds have this feel. The 911 comes to mind. It just has a flavor that behind the wheel others donā€™t match. Some of it is how the imperfections make you work around them.

Im sure more people more of the time will like the Bronco for its refinement on and off road.

Not taking away anything from the Ford but I wonā€™t be super surprised if Iā€™m not back in a Rubicon after this Bronco.

I grew up in a dealership family and have driven just about everything interesting under $100k. Some over. There is definitely truth to the experience some vehicles give you due to their characteristics.

But Iā€™ve owned and driven a ton of Jeeps and I havenā€™t experienced much automotive joy in a Jeep until itā€™s off-road. Awful everywhere else, which is 90%+ of the time for almost everyone, as a $40-60k vehicle.

If I weā€™re gonna tow and have an off-road toy, I might do a Jeep again. Thatā€™s about it. I actually prefer my ATVs to a Wrangler for just about everywhere off-road I go. Now those make you feel involved!

The Bronco was built to capture the Jeep base. The Bronco is the better of the two for what most people buy these vehicles for. Meaning most will not see the Radical back country use. And just look at how many people are in line to get one. If the Jeep Wrangler was the better of the two than Broncos would be sitting on dealer lots discounted. Uh huh someone tell me that storyšŸ˜. The Bronco is the Baddest Ass SUV to date and ask me how I knowšŸ˜Ž.
Just drove mine on a 400 mile one way to TN trip and WOW to say the least.

I am sure a lot of people buy Jeeps or Bronco's with never intending on using them off road. I have always been of the opinion of you are buying a Jeep --which is designed as an off road vehicle first-- and expect great Highway manners you are a bit naive. he Bronco seems to be a better compromise for on road handling but there is going to be some loss to it's off road capability. IMO neither vehicle is going to run away with the sales from the other--but because of all their differences there will always be a market for the other. Compitition will make them both betters but I think the Jeep will always be more of an off road vehicle that can be driven on road and the Bronco will be the exact opposite.

60 to 90 day wait on a jeep. You get a vin in 2 days. Mine was ordered 2 weeks ago as my Bronco is projected to be delivered sometime in 2025 or so...

Their Conclusions don't match their observations

Bronco's would have to get to the dealers for that to happen and the posts here show people do not want to pay extra for them. They are being forced to do so and don't want or have the will power to walk away and wait.
Jeep Sales have been great during the Bronco launch, and in fact, the chit chow has actually been Jeep's best Marketing ever.

Like the Bronco, and want one now, but can't have it,
Want to pay a fair price, but the Ford Dealer is F-Ing you over
Well then come on over, we have vehicles and will sell them to you at MSRP, if not better.
