Or they had a modular top lying around and could not spare a mic top as prod cars need them. What you see on a test vehicles in terms of aesthetic means nothing.

The modular painted top is the clue that the earliest release will probably be 2023 since that’s the timeline for the Modular top availability.

Different group as in ford performance is developing the warthog.

And here is something to think about. When ford released the GEN3 raptor they said they have been working on the 2021 raptor for 3 years. So this means they started working on the Gen3 raptor in 2018. This is remarkable as the gen2 raptor debut in 2017. So 1 year after the release of the gen2 raptor they were already working on the gen3 raptor.

My point is that if manufacturers did not work on future products simultaneously then nothing would ever be ready for public consumption.

Maybe @Ford Motor Company should worry more about the current bronco issues than a car 2-3 years out

This years big reveal will be the Heritage Edition with the painted MIC and next year will be it’s reveal with the modular hardtop… my thoughts.

anyone got pics of the 2021 raptor? If theyre using the same stuff (maybe even axles) there might not be as much market as people are thinking.

Are there any rumors on tow capacity for this guy? Would folks suspect it to be the same?

No jokes but that was a good setup 😋 There will be a ton of differences other than the size (assuming Ford builds the damn thing). The two big differences we should see are nice engine upgrade and the same suspension setup we see in the F150 Raptor. Other than that I imagine there will be cabin upgrades, which hopefully includes better looking instrument. I personally think the current Bronco’s dash instruments look childlike and silly. My 2 cents.

Definitely a beefy boy but I can't help but feel it seems bloated and bulky. For some reason it keeps reminding me of the ED-209 from Robocop. That being said, "I'd buy that for a dollar"
