Bronco Wildtrak MPG

I drive my Basesquatch 2 door with 2.7 like a grandpa (actually I am a granpa LOL), light foot, taking off gently at the lights, coast as much as possible, etc. and average 22.1. I got almost 26 in my 2019 Silverado with 5.3 V8 I traded in for the Bronco. The Silverado was pushing a lot more weight, so even 22.1 is a hit on MPG for me. It's a straight up wall in the wind, very difficult to get good MPG out of it no matter how you drive.

So I own a bronco wildtrak 4 door. Got it August 2022. Whenever I check on the touch screen , It always says I'm averaging 12.8 MPG but I though the wildtrak is supposed to get around 17. What numbers are y'all getting ?

Had my WT since October, less than 10k miles. Averaging just under 17, mostly flat (Iowa); and interstate using 10% ethanol.

Weather has been cold since I got it (Iowa again). My F-150 with the 2.7 always got better gas mileage in sumner.

Can you run E85 in the bronco?

Had my Badsquatch since March, have about 14k on the odometer, average about 16-17 mpg with mixed driving. Recently I have been using remote start in the mornings, so it has idled for 5-10-minutes and mpg readings are in the 15s for the tank. Use 93 and normal mode 99% of the time.

At altitude I do. What Costco sells or 91.

Update after finishing out this tank: 17.3mpg on premium with eco.

Wildtrak 2.7 4door 2023 87 octane Getting around 16-18 with 2wd sport mode just being casually steady in acceleration unless someone is tailing me too hard.

I feel eco was actually hurting me on the gear changes and I’m not an animal so maybe sport is better for me.

Do you mean 85 Octane regular? The high altitude regular? E85 is VASTLY different (85% ethanol 15% gas).

Can you run E85 in the bronco?

No, you can only run E15 maximum (15% ethanol). Consult your owners manual.

I get 16.4 on my 2022 Badlands, 2.7L with Squatch.

I have a 2 door Wildtrak and it has been getting between 17 and 18.

Been driving mine for a little over a week. I get 13.1 - 14.1. Mostly around town driving. Not much highway yet. ECO and Normal appear to do about the same so far.

4Dr Wildtrak 18.6 is most i have seen. Stays pretty consistent there.
