Don’t think I have ever owned a vehicle that paint chips more easily??? Anyone else notice the same thing?

side note: anyone continue to have white powder all over the interior?

No and no. I have 1 chip after 1 year of pounding it on and off road. No I've never had any white powder in the interior that I didn't mean to have there......

No, I think you're the first to mention it.

Sorry to hear. Mud flaps were the first option added, and was prior to pick up from dealer.

White powder? Do you have the roof sound proofing? Did you rub your hand, hat, other parts on the sound proofing material? I've noticed mine likes to flake a bit if it gets disturbed. Maybe a good vacuum will help.

I would swap out the cabin air filter. As for the chips…I have a couple but nothing major, although I have already replaced a windshield.

Yes, I do have the sound proofing. I’ll look at that for sure! Great idea…

Not just paint that chips easily on mine. I broke the windshield within a few weeks of delivery. I ended up putting ppf onto the paint, and a diy film kit from grab-gard.com onto the windshield.

I'm really happy to have both.

Lift your vehicles 12" and your less likely to get as many chips. The only time I've found wihte powder on my interior was after nights out. I always find it on the little flat bezel at the bottom of the touch screen. Weird...

Paint is thinner than ever on new vehicles. Hang back an extra 20 feet and get mudflaps.

Yup, and I try to avoid interstate driving but if I have to I stay away from everything.

Yep on windshield #2 and it currently has a chip and safelight repair didn’t work well. You get two free replacements a year with insurance so waiting to see if I get more damage before replacing it again. Something about the quality and the angle makes these prone to it I think.
