Maybe somebody stole the motor. No wonder it won’t start.Which motor do you have? Keep us posted on the solution.
This dude has owned Volkswagens. If you put black electrical tape over all those lights the problem will go away... I read it on the internet...
This is definitely the first thing I would try too. Disconnect the battery, then let it sit few minutes to allow all the charges stored within the vehicle due to internal capacitances to dissipate (might be able to also just press the horn until it no longer honks if you don’t want to wait). Then reconnect battery and try again.Maybe try the ol' battery disconnect.

Don't Make me relive itLucas Electrics...the Prince of Darkness!!!
Friend of mine left his Land Rover at my house as he was going to be gone for about 6 months. That thing was possessed! Things would turn on and off all by themselves just sitting in the driveway with no one near it! The brits have never been able to figure out automotive electrical systems. Anyone remember positive battery cables being hooked to the Chassis and all the grounds were switched On the old MG’s?Lucas Electrics...the Prince of Darkness!!!
I wouldn't buy a British car unless it was a garage queen ever!Dad had a 68 MGB Roadster.
That car is why I could never convince my adult self to get a Land Rover.
