I hear you. I know it's a render, but I'm really curious as to what 'family' of color the Area 51 belongs to. Green-ish blue? Blue-ish green? Is there really a difference between thost two? I'm trying to think of an existing vehicle that would have a factory paint job that closely resembles "A51". It really will be one of those colors we'll have to see in person. Damn you, Ford marketing...
I'm really hoping it's seriously "out there" given they named it Area 51 but the render is under-whelming.

Not that the renders aren't fantastic, they are! It's just hard to imagine the colors out on a trail on a sunny day.

Something in this arena would be fantastic

The scratches from tree branches would be sooo bad though.

But in reality I'm sure it will have much less depth more like this

Now that I think of it, I'm surprised their are no military-esque colors like OD or FDE. I know that's more Heep style, but everyone seems to like it in this segment.

Toyota had Dune Beige for the FJ

And Army Green

And Quicksand for the 4Runner

Xterra had Canteen Green that was most sought after, only available for one year

Jeep has Gobi Tan and a few others

Sorry for all the pictures, I guess my point is- why no tan or green?

that green/saddle tan on Bronco would wind up on a LOT of driveways
I didn't even think of that darker green with tan interior...
I'm REALLY liking that combo in my head now, but then again I have a major soft spot for old Jag convertibles in British Racing Green and tan. (XKE, XJS)

These renders are fantastic. White fenders basically fixed any complaints I had with the stock fenders we’ve seen so far. I hope this is attainable from the factory

This is from a site called Mystery Wire. Take it for what it's worth.
MYSTERY WIRE — For months auto enthusiasts have been speculating on the upcoming 2021 Ford Bronco. What has caught our attention is one of the color options for the new Bronco. What appears to be a dark grey 2-tone paint job will be called Area 51.

While not the colors, this is the type of paint I want: flat, non-glittery/metallic. Hope we get some that look/feel like the first-gen color palates.

Can we get a couple of those mocked up? My dream is one in baby blue/soft blue with a tan/brown leather interior.

OK, I can't make up my mind. And I'm the owner of two Grabber Orange vehicles. Just don't think I can do a third orange Ford. What about buying a black model and drive it right over to your favorite body shop and have them add the second color of your choice? I'm thinking of ol' #56 here... I just might do this. If I had to go with one color... kind of liking Area 51. But that is clearly second choice.

Ohhh, I like that idea.

How about a border for that panel?

No, I don't like that at all. Way too busy.

WHITE TOP, WHITE FENDER FLARES, WHITE GRILLE!

I want to like these, but don't. I'm just not loving the white grille.

WHITE TOP, WHITE FLARES, BLACK GRILLE
