Ford is well known for having the best A/C of any car company.

Works well. I’m in Georgia running the AC most of the year. It was 95F this afternoon when I got in my bronco. I left the AC on max for 2-3 minutes then had to turn the fan down to setting 2.

I can second this statement. Years ago I got the wife a 98 Taurus w/50K on it and I took it to the local a/c shop to have serviced and asked the tech if everything was ok. He said, "works like a champ and blows ice cold". So I asked if he has seen issues with the a/c in a taurus and he said, "for the record I never have to work on Ford's a/c they have one of the best out there" ;) That thing would blow cold within 30 seconds of starting.

I did not touch the a/c after that, 15 years and 150K and it still blew icicles. Had to take it off the road because there were no more rockers or doglegs left on it. If only the body stayed together as well as the a/c.

Although I do not have a Bronco yet I can say our 22 Explorer is no different, within minutes the wife has to turn it down.

Those that live in hot places what do you think on the A/C vs your other cars?
Took a Wildtrak on a test drive here in AZ on a 110 degree day and it was good.

The AC in my Badlands seems a bit colder than my wife's expedition. I live in Central FL, and it is hot and humid 7 to 8 months of the year.

The one thing I’ll say about is that it definitely works, but once it gets hot outside that engine fan (under the hood) really blows loudly. Not sure if it’s just mine, but my buddy was outside the car and asked if it was overheating because of how loud the engine fan was. I started to drive away and turned off the AC and the engine fan slowed right down.

The A/C is excellent. Might be better than my F150.

North Carolina here. 3-digit heat index daily. No issues with either Bronco and I don’t even have the side and back window on the truck. I take the, off in the spring and leave off til end of fall.

The A/C is excellent! I have a 4 door soft top in Phoenix and it keeps me cool on 110-115 degree days. You have to aim the center vents straight back to cool the back seat passengers.

Is it a 2.3????

My 22 Explorer has the same 2.3 and I will say in that it is a loud running engine. That thing is loud all the time. 😁

I will say it blows very cold and quite fast. Not much delay if any after turning it on. We just returned from a week long trip to Topsail Island in NC and it was extremely hot and humid. I have a 4 door soft top, and everyone was comfortable even in the back seats for what turned out to be a 9 hour drive home today. The remote start works great to cool it down a bit before getting in.

Gets plenty cold. Only odd thing to me is the variable speed air flow from the vents when not in recirc mode.

The 3.5 in my old Explorer was quite even with the a/c on. Very small fan noise but not noticeable. Some engines are quieter than others. 😁
